How to distinguish between ABS and PP products
The ABS plastic covers the PP plastic component. The PP only has polypropylene, PP plastic is suitable for producing decay-resistance locker, which is made to store chemical reagents. However, the ABS plastic lockers is widely used as office lockers, sauna lockers, etc.
Incision
ABS lathe cuts shows white, PP lathe cuts shows dark black or yellow.
ABS products have a faint sweetness when burned, but PP products have a distinct chemical taste.
After painted, the surface of ABS locker is bright and smooth. On the other side, the color of PP locker is monotonous and feels astringent.
Weight & Hardness
In the case of the same product, the PP material is lighter than the ABS, the ABS hardness is firm, and the PP material is brittle.
Usage
ABS lockers will not be deformed and faded, while PP lockers will be deformed and easy to damage after using for a long time.
